A:CLO, standing for Art in Closet, is a brand that aims to present clothing not merely as everyday items, but as works of art. For this project, I was tasked with creating artwork for their first apparel launch, alongside other artists.
Transitioning from traditional 3D CGI software like Maya and Houdini, this project represents my early exploration into generative AI during my studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Originally developed as an experimental Stable Diffusion workflow for my personal music album covers, I recognized the commercial potential of this technology and adapted it for apparel design. Partnering with the startup A:CLO Art in Closet, I utilized Stable Diffusion to engineer a series of unique, production-ready graphics. This early adoption of AI tools provided the artistic foundation for the brand’s launch.
